What is Applied Social Psychology?
Applied Social Psychology uses psychological theory and research to understand and address real-world issues affecting individuals, organizations, and communities. At Windsor, students develop strong research and methodological skills while learning how to use psychological knowledge to assess problems, evaluate programs and practices, and contribute to positive change.What Will You Gain from the Program?
Students combine coursework and research with practicum and internship experiences that provide opportunities to apply psychological knowledge in real- world settings. This combination of research, methodological training, and practical experience prepares graduates to work in universities, government, education, health and community organizations, business, consulting, and other settings where psychological research can inform practice and decision-making.

Substantial Applied Experience Our program includes a 100-hour Master's practicum and a 1,000-hour doctoral internship, providing structured opportunities to apply psychological knowledge in professional settings. Breadth of Research Opportunities Our faculty represent diverse areas of applied psychology, giving students opportunities to explore different research interests and applications.
